You wake up in the morning, look at the mirror
and..simply scream!!! There is a pimple on your nose the size of a Ping-Pong ball. Paint
it red and lo and behold- you have Rudolph. What happened??
The skin has pores. Under the skin there are oil glands, which secrete oil called
sebum through the pores. Dust and dirt are attracted to the sebum, so it settles and
becomes solid and remains on the opening of the pore. The dirt and sebum irritate the
surrounding skin and causes the formation of a pimple. Sometimes pimples are caused due to
hormonal changes, heredity, constipation and dandruff.
